bimala wins bronze medal at karate
Incheon, Korea 2 Oct-Nepal has won it's first medal in the ongoing 17th edition of Asian Games.Bimala Tamang has won the Bronze Medal in women's Karate Kata Performance competition for Nepal.With this medal Nepal has registered it's name on the list of nations with medals.
Bimala has defeated Jyu Kang of North Korea with the score of 5-0 in the match for the third place.Earlier Bimala had defeated Pakistan 4-1 in the quarterfinal but she was defeated by Nguyen Hoang Ngan of Vietnam 5-0 in semifinal.
Deepak Maharjan had won the only medal for Nepal at 16th Asian Games held at China in 2010.
Bimala Mamba Tamang is 19 years old and permanent resident of Chautara 4- Semjong Dhading.After wining the medal Bimala has been widely appreciated for wining first medal for the nation which has given us more happiness at  such festive moment of Dashain festival.
