The most awaited movie of the year, Himmatwali by number one Nepali actress Rekha Thapa has been realeased yesterday all over Nepal and Gopi Krishna Movies in Kathmandu despite Governments order to hold the show in kathmandu as per the Nepali Film Releasing directives, in Kathmandu, Nepalese movies can only be released on friday, but Rekha and the distributer decided to break the rule and Himmatwali was released on Wednesday in Katmandu also.The Union Of Nepali Film Producers has expelled Rekha from the union and even from the generalmembership.Whereas Himmatwali has seen a houseful opening at most of the Theatures.The occupency on the opening day was above 90 percent according to Rekha Thapa and the distributer of the film.
Film distributer has expressed his happiness saying Rekha Thapa is the true hero of Nepali Film Industry as the audiences has came to cinema because of her name.Himmatwali features Rekha Thapa in its leading role as the film itself is a female oriented movie.Another attraction of the movie is the Actor Sudarshan Gautam, who is armless, the very first time in Nepali movie has such actor, and the heroic action of Rekha Thapa has been appreciated since few of her last movies.Rekha's previous movie Kali was also a hit with similar action story.
Rekha has said that the comming few days will tell the real collection of movie while the first day collection is very exciting.
