The most anticipated Upper Karnali  project development agreement (PDA) has been signed between Nepal and Indian company GMR Ltd.The CEO of Investment Board Nepal and Vice Chairman of GMR Ltd, Arbind Mancha has signed the agreement paper on behalf of Nepal and Indian side respectively. Prime Minister Sushil Koirala, Indian Home Minister Rajnath Singh, Cabinet Ministers, UML Chairman KP Oli, Vice Chairman of National Planning Commission and Indian Ambassador were present at the agreement signing ceremony.
Nepal and GMR India Upper Karnali PDA agreementAccording to the agreement GMR will manage the necessary fund for the project within two years and the whole project will be completed by 2021.Indian Home Minister Singh has asked the GMR to complete the project on time which is related to Indian pride and India has always wished Nepal to move towards prosperity.

 
The PDA agreement can be summarized as below (Not Official):
 
 
1.GMR will manage the necessary fund within 2 years
2.900 MW Upper Karnali project will be completed by 2021 where Nepal will get free 27% shares and 12 percent of free electricity
3.After 25 years, GMR will handover the Project to Nepal in an operational status.
4.GMR will construct the 108 KM Transmission Line up to Indian Border
5.GMR will construct necessary dam sites to regulate the water flow from the project site.
 Most of the Nepali authorities have welcomed the agreement saying it will open the door of prosperity for Nepal whereas CPN Maoist Baidhya Faction and his allies have denounced the agreement saying it's against the welfare of Nepalese people. These parties have announced the protest programs including burning the PDA and pretesting at Karnali area.
An aircraft museum has been opened at Hashanpur of Dhangadi Nepal which is inside an old airplane of Cosmic Air. There are many aircraft museum around the world but this must be the first museum inside an airplane. Former Prime Minister and leader of Nepali Congress, Sher Bahadur Deuba has inaugurated the museum on Thrusday (18th of September 2014).
Bed Prasad Upreti of Dhangadi who has been working as trainer pilot in an Indonesian based airlines, has opened the aircraft museum. He has collected some 200 models of different aircrafts made by different companies after Right Brothers made the first plane. Out of the many aircrafts kept in the museum only 4-5 models are able to fly and rest are only the samples which all the aircraft companies construct for keeping in Museum and giving away as gifts.
aricraft museum of Dhangadi NepalAccording to Upreti students and Scholars can also get a lot of information in the museum. He said that he has arranged training for 4-5 engineering students who can learn making small flying airplanes, so this is a laboratory for students as well.
The museum management has said that they charge 100 rs for general public and 50 rs for students as entrance fees. They have managed to collect 15% of the ticket fees in a Trust which will be used for helping cancer patients and providing scholarship for poor students.
It took him around 7 months time and 10.5 million rs to construct the museum. Local people have actively visited the museum as he has kept many world famous pictures inside the museum including Eiffel Tower, London Bridge, New Zeeland, Jomsong Airport, Phipi of Thailand, Mt. Everest from
the north face and many interesting photos from far western Nepal.

Government of Nepal has unveiled the budget of USD 6.18(Nepali Rs 618) Billion for the fiscal year 2014-2015.Minister of Finance Dr. Ram Sharan Mahat has presented the above budget in the parliament on 13th of July 2014.This is the first full budget in 3 years with new policies and Programs.
The budget has mainly focused on agriculture and infrastructure development. Minister Mahat has said that this budget is reform investment oriented as per the need of nation. The budget has also stressed the investment in Hydropower, manufacture, service industry and tourism industry. It has aimed at achieving six percent economic growth and nine percent inflation rate in the next fiscal year.
The annual fiscal policy has laid $3.53 billion for current expenditure, $1.66 billion for capital expenditure and $787  million for fiscal management. A budget of USD 335 million has been allocated to Health sector aiming easy access of health service for public through out the country.
The budget has tried to address the necessity of every sector but is failed to introduce any programs of massive reform.

Below are the other sector addressed by this new budget 2071-2071 Nepal.

1.To Produce 25 MW from solar energy
2.To provide loan at not more than 6 percent for youths to initiate any sort of productive job in Nepal
3.To provide add to NOC to for adjusting petroleum price in Nepal
4.To subsidy custom duty  on agriculture sector
5.To provide full tax exemption for  5 years for any production related industries with investment over rs 1 billion
and tourism industries over Rs 2 billion.
6.Establish a "Start Up Fund" with rs 500 million to help entrepreneurs coming up with new knowledge but facing lack of
capital.
7.To provide increment of 10% on salary of all government employee.
8.To provide 10 million Rs to every directly elected constituent Assembly Member for development work of respective constituency
9.To provide annual 2000 rs medical allowance to all elders above the age of 70 years.
10.To provide 7000 rs per month for all injured and families of martyrs of peoples movement
Besides above announcements , the budget have addressed on various titles of health, agriculture, transportation and industries related programs.
