Indian President , Pranab Mukharjee is going to visit Nepal on 2nd November for 3 days. Although visit of Chinese President is on the discussion, it will not likely take place this year.
Government Spokesperson and Minister for Information and Communications Surendra Kumar Karki informed that a council meeting today has decided to allocate public holidays during the state visit by the heads of the neighboring countries.
After the cabinet decision, there has been debates on social medias and news medias weather government should give pubic holidays during such visits or not.
