Pratap Lama of Kathmandu has won the Title of Nepali Tara Season 3.In the final competition held in Army Officer's Club Bhadrakali Kathmandu, Pratap was able to receive higher score from the judges and more SMS votes from audiences through out Nepal and also from Malaysia.Devesh Rai and Suresh Lama have become the First and the Second Runner Ups.
Pratap has won a cash prize of Nrs 250 K, a Bazaz Discover Bike and contract to sing 3 Nepali songs along with the Nepali Tara 3 Title. All Top 10 contestantnts have received Cash Prize of Nrs 11 K each and they all will get a chance to sing on a Nepali Tara Top 10 Album.
Nepali Tara Season 3 had began since the 17th Bhadra with the Audition Rounds from Dharan, Narayangadh, Butwal, Pokhara and concluded in Kathmandu for comprehensive televised rounds in front of Judges and audience which had been airing in Televisions every week.
The Judges for Nepali Tara 3 included singer Ram Krishna Dhakal, Musician Prakash Gurung, Musician Suresh Adhikari and Singer Sangeeta Pradhan along with Mentor Judges Rajan Ishan and James Pradhan.
