Due to the problem in Dragon Air's scheduled flights, Nepal's participation in 4 of Asian games have been uncertain.Dragon Air has cancelled it's flight for last 2 days.Dragon Air didn't have flight on last Wednesday and they cancelled the flight also on Thursday due to hydraulic problem on the plane.It has put Nepal's cricket, athletics, table tennis and wrestling in uncertainty.
According to Uttam Karmacharya , acting general secretary of Nepal Cricket Council, they have managed to send Nepalese players in 2 different flights of different airlines.As he said Shakti Gauchan and Sharad Bheshwakar will be flying to Korea via Malaysia whereas other 14 players will fly to Korea via Bankok.Players will arrive Inchon tomorrow at 7 am local time leaving only 6 hrs resting time before Nepal will have first match with Kuwait at 2 pm local time.On the other hand flight of athletics players are still uncertain as they will have match on Saturday.According to Sushil Narsingh Rana, the athletics coach, there has been arrangement for players of other games by Nepal Airlines but not the athletics players Athletics has 9 players and 3 officials whereas Table Tennis and Wrestling has 9 and 3 respectively.
The seventeenth edition of Asian Games at Incheon South Korea has started on 19 September, 2014 and will end on 4 October, 2014.
