Famous Nepalese Folk Singer of Wari Jamuna Pari Jamuna, Khem Raj Gurung has passd away on Thrusday evening.
His funeral ceremony was held at Pashupatinath Aaryaghat Yesterday on Sunday. Thousands of public, government officials and artists from music fields were present at Aaryaghat to pay final tribute to late singer Khem Raj Gurung.
Earlier Gurung's body was brought to Sangkhuwashabha by helicopter for one hr. as public from his home district wanted to pay their last tribute. Hundreds of general public and government public service workers gathered at the local Tundikhel to pay respect to Gurung.
Khem Raj Gurung died on Thursday evening at the early age of 42 years. He became famous after his super hit folk song "Wari Jamuna Pari Jamuna".His another song, "Bhanchhan Budha Pakale" was also popular.
