A passenger bus traveling from Kathmandu to Bhairhawa has plunged into Trishuli River leaving at least one passenger dead, 9 seriously injured and 2 passengers missing.
According to SP Bashant Kunwar of Chitwan, the passenger bus Lu 1 Kha skidded off the road and fallen into Trishuli , 150 m down from the road near by the Riddi Khola in between Narayangadh- Mugling Sector.
CDO of Chitwan informed that one injured passenger died on the way while transfering to Bharatpur Hospital for treatment.
Search and Rescue Work Continues
Half of the bus is seen outside the water level and police are rearcing aroung the accident spot.
It has been estimated that at least 11 passengers were traveling on that bus.
Nepal Police and Nepal Armed Force Police team are deployed on seach process.
Cause of the accident is still unknown.
