Tikapur (Kailali), June 20: Home Minister Janardan Sharma has assured to provide justice to the victims of the Tikapur incident. Speaking at an election campaign organized by the ruling CPN (Maoist Centre) here Tuesday, Minister Sharma who is also the leader of the party, said that the incident was planned and where a conspiracy has been made to drag the Maoist party into it. He claimed that the incident was made to create a tussle between Hilly and Tarai Tharu communities. Sharma added that separatist forces carried out the incident by playing in the vacuum between security forces and people. He further claimed that his party was the only party that has included peoples' agendas in the constitution. On a different note, Minister Sharma argued that he was development friendly and was not corrupt like others. The Tikapur incident took place on 24 August 2015, leading to the death of eight persons including seven police officers and a two-year old child.

The major aftershocks on 12th May 2015 after the devastating earthquake on 25th April has killed more than 70 people and left mor than 2000 people injured.With epicentre around Namchebazar, it has mainly affected Dolakha district where 90 percent of the homes have been fallen.
People in Kathmandu have came out to the plain area and slept there and waiting for the safe time, whereas the highway to northeast Nepal has been blocked due to the landslides after the earthquake.A US helicopter which went to Dolakha has gone missing since Tuesday and some unconfimred news sources reported that it was located at Singada area of Dolkaha but Nepal army and the home ministry have said that they have been found yet.
Life in Kathmandu have gone into confusion and fear again.Few more buildings have fallen on Tuesday's earthquake and alot of government buildings have been damaged badly including Supreme court, the Prime Mininter's Residence etc.
